We can always use your help, whatever your gift may be.
If you have time on your hands, we have projects and tasks for you. If you have money, we would love to put that to good use on our many projects, such as a kitchen remodel or a new elevator, both of which are quite outdated. If you have other resources, such as appliances, friends, a working vehicle, knowledge, or a skill, we would love to talk to you about how you can help out at Shepherds.

Ongoing Benevolent Care
Donations can be made to Shepherds of Independence for the ongoing benevolent care of the organization’s residents. Donations to this fund will assist with the costs of meals, utilities, and general care of Shepherds of Independence’s 43 residents.
Ministry/Spiritual Guidance
Donations can be made to support the spiritual services provided at Shepherds of Independence. Contributions will assist with obtaining ministers to perform weekly services and to help with chapel renovations.
Sponsor-A-Room
Donations can be made to supplement the rental cost for a resident at Shepherds of Independence. As all residents are low-income, contributions to this fund will directly help with housing one of Shepherds of Independence’s disabled residents.
Stations of the Cross
Shepherds of Independence’s property is proud to have the fourteen Stations of the Cross on its property. Donations to this fund will assist in the preservation of these Stations and with the general upkeep of the organization’s property.
